A Luxembourg woman has decided to get rid of her bed as it was taking up precious space that could be used for more throw pillows.
“They say you can never have enough throw pillows to decorate, obstruct, and fundamentally ruin your sleeping area,” said Beate Horn. “They are right.”
On Thursday, workers removed Horn’s bed from her third-story apartment, making room for the 36 new colorful throw pillows she had bought from a local shop, bringing the total number of pillows to 109.
“My life is complete,” she said. “Wait, no, it isn’t. I need more throw pillows. We may need to tear down a wall and raise the ceiling to make space. I’ll see if I can get a bank loan to pay for it.”
“Help me,” commented her partner who, unknown to Horn, has been trapped under the pile of throw pillows since Monday. “Please.”
