A Luxembourg City woman who is going to the all-night party in the center in celebration of National Day on June 23 has spent nearly two hours looking for the right outfit to match all the random substances that will end up on her before the night’s end, she says.
“Red from the Negroni I’ll spill on my shirt when a stoned teenager walks into me. Gold from the mustard that will drip from the mettwurst I’ll drunkenly order at 3 a.m. Dark gray from the ashes that a hundred smokers will accidentally flick on me. Yellow from the guy who will try to dance with me and cover me with his sweat. And who knows what else.”
“It’s not easy finding colors to match them all.”
After another 30 minutes, the woman settled on dark blue jeans and a black top, saying that as long as no one drops a waffle covered with white whipped cream on her, she should be fine.
