On Monday, Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and several ministers announced a plan to announce a plan before announcing a plan.
“We’re going to say something on Tuesday, and we want to tell you, the public, we are going to say it before we say it,” said a government spokesperson. “That way, you’ll know you’re going to know what you don’t currently know.”
“And before we announce to you the thing we’re going to announce, we’re going to discreetly announce it to a small group of connected people, so they can announce what we’re going to announce before we announce it,” he continued.
“Just as a river takes many turns before spilling its contents into the sea, so too must we follow this route,” he added.
Sources indicate that if the unreleased update that is released before it is officially released is unfavorably received, the government will consider releasing a different update.
