‘I love the diversity of Luxembourg,’ says expat who only socializes with own socio-ethno-linguistic group

November 17, 2017

‘I love the diversity of Luxembourg,’ says expat who only socializes with own socio-ethno-linguistic groupA woman who only socializes with people who strongly resemble her in looks, language, and income has announced that she loves the diversity of Luxembourg.

“There are so many nationalities represented here, it’s a veritable cornucopia of cultures,” she said. “And you can really enjoy them from a safe distance, like, through the tinted windows of your Range Rover as you drive from your fortified house in Cents to pick up a 450-euro t-shirt at SMETS.”

“And let’s not forget the rich symphony of languages from all around the world that you hear in every shop and cafe, street corner and park,” she continued. “I love registering these sweet and varied sounds for an instant before putting in my earbuds to drown them out with music enjoyed by members of my own socio-ethno-linguistic group from back home.”

“Oh, and what’s best is the variety of international cuisines you can find here in Luxembourg, and the huge selection of colorful restaurants whose exotic names and tantalizing offerings nearly tempt you before you continue searching for one that promises the predictable and comforting dishes from your own country.”

Sources indicate that the expat, who describes herself in her Twitter profile as “a globetrotting adventuress who will try anything twice,” is so in love with the international character of Luxembourg that she’s already making arrangements for her family’s move back home.
